Puaka Matariki Waiata Session

Join the DCC Waiata Rōpū for a special community waiata session at Dunedin Public Art Gallery as part of the Puaka Matariki Festival.

This relaxed and welcoming gathering invites the public to come together through waiata, celebrating te tau hou Māori with song, connection, and shared kōrero. Whether you are confident in waiata or simply curious to listen and join in, everyone is welcome.

No experience is needed, song sheets provided - just bring yourself, your whānau, and a willingness to celebrate Matariki through music and community.
