Charlotte Glennie in conversation with Grant Robertson

Free event, RSVP essential: Dunedin Launch | Every Second Counts | Moa Press

Every Second Counts is the fascinating, fast-paced memoir by award-winning NZ journalist Charlotte Glennie, who survived life-changing injuries after a near-fatal accident and went on to break new ground reporting across Asia during major world events.
From being the first New Zealand correspondent to film in North Korea, reporting live in the aftermath of the Indian Ocean tsunami which killed over 230,000 people, to battling monsoon rains in the world's largest refugee camp in southern Bangladesh, Charlotte writes about people living in extreme circumstances, and what it is like to be there alongside them.

She joins Vice-Chancellor and former Deputy Prime Minister Grant Robertson, who recently released his own memoir Anything Could Happen, to discuss her story and the paths their careers have taken since they started as students at the University of Otago together in 1990.

Book sales on the night thanks to UBS Otago.
