A Brief History of Time
Wednesday, 28th May 2025 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Athenaeum Library & Mechanics Institute, 23 The Octagon, Dunedin
Join a presentation by Dunedin born, educated (and still connected) Dr Richard Christie. He takes a lighthearted look at aging from a paediatrician's point of view.
He will also be promoting a newly published memoir by his Australian colleague, flying doctor Elizabeth Green - No Time for Makeup. (Published by Dunedin's Exisle Publishing.)
Dr Richard Christie was born and raised in Dunedin, studied at Otago Medical School, practices in Perth, Western Australia. - A new Zealander by birth, a Celt by genealogy (60% Irish and 36% Scottish), an Australian by accident, a pediatrician by chance, and short by design.
This event coincides with the 150th anniversary celebration of Otago University's Medical School.
