Hone Tuwhare's Crib at Kākā Point - the first residency to be established in the name and home of a Māori writer. Homesteads produced a beautiful episode on the Tuwhare Crib - a simple and humble story about Hone Tuwhare - pāpā, koro, friend and poet who was and is deeply respected and loved by so many; whose mana continues to be felt throughout the country and whose poetry lives on in the next generation.
