Granada Writers in Residence Programme 2026

Applications are open for the International Granada Writers in Residence Programme 2026, hosted by Granada UNESCO City of Literature in collaboration with the University of Granada.

A 30-night residency in Granada for two writers, from Monday, 2 November to Tuesday, 1 December 2026, inclusive, at the Corrala de Santiago, University of Granada.

The residency is open to writers living anywhere in the world and writing in any language. Applicants must have published at least two individually authored books (novels, essays, poetry, drama, or hybrid literary works).

Knowledge of the Spanish language will be highly valued, although it will not be essential.
