In the glossy dark, the water is so pressurised it crushes steel. Here the siphonophore is a chain of ethereal lights where there should be no light. It is delicate wisps and coils of illumination. A relative of the jellyfish, the creature drifts in fathomless, in pressing, in incomprehensible.
