2021 Bucheon Residency Program

Bucheon, City of Literature is delighted to announce an open call for the Bucheon Residency Program to offer two residencies for writers, translators and cartoonists in October-November(4-6 weeks), 2021, hoping that many creative talents who have been interested in Korean culture will get involved.

This year, we are seeking to work with writers who have diaspora experiences (ex. published diaspora works or taken part in diaspora-related activities) in connection with the inaugural Bucheon Diaspora Literary Award to be held in October, 2021.

We invite literary artists who have connection with the member cities of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network to apply for the second edition of our residency program. The deadline is Sunday 11th April 2021.
