Writing Prizes Roundtable - call for registrations
By Ōtepoti He Puna Auaha | Dunedin UNESCO City Of Literature | Posted: Friday Nov 28, 2025
Join coordinators from literary prizes across the UNESCO Cities of Literature for a dynamic virtual meeting hosted by Melbourne City of Literature in conjunction with the Melbourne Prize. Registrations close 5 January 2026.
This 90 minute session brings together prize managers to share insights, compare frameworks, and exchange best-practice approaches to governance, judging, promotion, and author care. Designed as an open, collegial space, the meeting invites participants to reflect on current challenges, celebrate innovations, and strengthen connections across the sector.
Whether you oversee an emerging award or a long-established prize, this gathering offers practical knowledge, fresh perspectives, and an opportunity to collectively shape a more sustainable and inclusive literary-prize ecosystem.
