Drop by Drop Poetry for Children Competition

Congratulations to Samantha Montgomerie who has been successful in having two commended poems in the Drop by Drop Poetry for Children Competition.

Commended by judge Bill Nagelkerke for its deceptively simple and engaging rhythm and concise use of words.

Commended by judge Bill Nagelkerke who said the poem “stood out, the first and last stanzas being especially resonant, the patterning and syllabic length of their words beautifully echoing the actions of the sun and the sea.”
