Pike River: Ōtepoti Film Premiere

Get your tickets for the special Dunedin film premiere of Pike River, which is raising funds for the Playhouse Theatre's refurbishment project.

Director Rob Sarkies will appear for a post-screening Q&A alongside Pike family members Sonya Rockhouse and Anna Osborne, who are portrayed by Robyn Malcolm and Melanie Lynskey in the film.

Rob started his filmmaking trajectory as a child on stage at the Playhouse in the 1980s, and we are honoured to be a part of this very special event.

The Pike River premiere and Q&A will be held at Rialto Cinemas Dunedin at 6.30pm on Sunday 19 October.

Earlier in the day, Rob will give a presentation at the Playhouse Theatre for filmmakers, storytellers and other creatives about the process of crafting the film.
