'A Town Trod by Poets' gifted to the Switzerland women's national football team

The Switzerland women's national football team is now in Dunedin ahead of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™, which starts this week.

On arrival, the players were gifted a copy of 'A Town Trod by Poets' by Roger Hickin and Peter Olds, which is published (and was gifted to the team) by Dunedin UNESCO City of Literature.

The book celebrates unique bodies of work that pay homage to our heritage as an extraordinary and creative city. Roger Hickin deftly maps the city with words, while renowned Dunedin poet Peter Olds captures a slice of history with his poetry and irresistible photographs of 1990’s graffiti art.
