Ian Chapman's ANZAC musical tribute

Hear from regular RNZ music correspondent and honorary senior lecturer in music, Ian Chapman. He's written a beautiful musical tribute to his world-war-two veteran father. It's called 'Go To Sea, An ANZAC Day Memory.'

Before playing the song, Susan got Ian to introduce us to his father, Victor David Charles Chapman, and tell how this piece of music came together.
