We believe in the power of stories, and in the power of giving.

Kiwi Christmas Books collects brand new books to gift to kiwi kids doing it tough at Christmas — those young people using the services of the City Missions, the Women’s Refuges, and other great charities around the country.

We started in Auckland in 2019, and this year we are going nationwide, calling on all kiwis to donate a book to a kid in need in their town or city.

Board books, picture books, chapter books, middle grade, Young Adult fiction, non-fiction, reference — we’d love them all!

We’d love it even more if it was a book by a New Zealand-based author or illustrator — that way we can support local writers and publishers, as well as our kids.
