To celebrate World Poetry Day 2025, we were thrilled to attend the special launch of ‘Layers of Identity’—a powerful new OAR FM podcast celebrating remarkable young writers!

This inspiring project showcases the voices of Ōtepoti’s rangatahi as they explore their whakapapa, identity, culture, and belonging through original poems, essays, and speeches. Selected participants will not only record their original writing but also share their personal journeys in interviews, offering a deeper look into their creative expression.
