Young Minds Shine at Dunedin Kids’ Lit Quiz

Warmest congratulations to the winners and all participants in the Kids' Lit Quiz held at Dunedin North Intermediate on Friday 27 March!

Twenty-five teams participated. There were teams of Year 7 & 8 students and teams of Year 5 & 6 students. Wayne Mills is the quiz master. It is his final year and Alan Dingley is taking over. There were 10 rounds of questions. The categories are not given until the day. Teams select a round they think will be the best and this is their joker round. The points they earn on that round are doubled. This year's categories included literary knowledge, elephants, forests, hobbies, horror, houses, hunters, journeys and knights. DNI Team 1 came in first place; DNI 2 came in second place.
