The Tuwhare Trust is welcoming applications for the newly developed Tuwhare Residency Programme. There are 3 residencies available. Applications close June 1 2025.

• Te Pane Kākā o Tuwhare — The Hone Tuwhare Poetry Residency - for a Māori poet from Aotearoa

• Te Ringatoi o Tuwhare — The Hone Tuwhare Creative Residency - for a Māori creative or creative collective from Aotearoa

• Te Kaituhi o Tuwhare — The Hone Tuwhare Creative Writing Residency - for a creative writer from Aotearoa

This opportunity gives 3 creatives the chance to stay, write, think and create in Hone Tuwhare’s crib at Kaka Point.
