The NZPS is looking for two lovely people to join us at the New Zealand Poetry Society.
The New Zealand Poetry Society supports and promotes poets and poetry in New Zealand. Established in 1973, we engage with individuals and communities across New Zealand who share a sense of curiosity and excitement about poetry.
1. Administrator - paid
The NZPS is looking for an Administrator to keep the Poetry Society running smoothly by handling a wide-range of organisational tasks and enquiries.
The Administrator needs to be well-organised, pay attention to detail, and have great written communication skills.
A background in arts, education and/or non-profits is an advantage.
This is a remote-working, contract position of approximately five hours per week. Preferred start date: end of August.
2. Secretary - voluntary
This is a call out for a new Committee Member to fill the Officer position of Secretary. The Secretary organises and minutes the monthly committee meetings (via Zoom), and assists with the overall governance of the Society.
A love of poetry is essential, and experience with non-profits or charities is helpful.
Expected time commitment of one hour per week.
