Follow the Southern Sunset Thursday 17 September

We're so proud to share that our very own Lisa Dick will be reading her first children's picture book, 'The Baby Sleeps' illustrated by Laura Bee (Allen & Unwin Aotearoa NZ), as part of 'Follow the Southern Sunset' — a beautiful global storytelling project that follows the sunset around the world, sharing bedtime stories with children everywhere.

Organised by our friends at Hobart City of Literature, this inaugural event brings together storytellers from Dunedin, Hobart, Wonju and Jakarta over five hours, each reading as the sun sets in their city — a celebration of International Literacy Month and this year's theme, Literacy for people, the planet and prosperity.

Tune in at 6.20pm NZ time on Thursday 17 September - Lisa reads live at 6.28pm - follow the sunset from Aotearoa all the way to Indonesia!
