Re:In:Act - Applications Due 26 June

In 2022 Ōtepoti Theatre Lab presented a pilot season of Re:In:Act in partnership with Toitu Early Settlers Museum. Beginning during Matariki, three works were presented in the Ara-i-te-uru, New Edinburgh, and First Great City galleries.

In 2023, we’re throwing the Re:In:Act net wider to bring in more creatives and stories from Ōtepoti Dunedin.

We are inviting pitches from TODAY through until Monday 26th June!

Yes, it’s a short time frame – but we want to know what’s been top of your creative brain, bubbling away waiting for the right time to come to life. There’s no lofty application process, but a quick-fire opportunity for creative pairs or individuals to research, develop and present a 5-10 minute low-fi live performance (physical/dance, monologue, and/or music) in response to a site, community, and/or history in Ōtepoti Dunedin.

Performances are free to the public and presented a minimum of 3x times on the day of presentation.

YES, it’s a paid opportunity, YES, there’s support.
