Dunedin Dream Brokerage is excited to welcome Oshadha Perera as their first residency of Locations of Interest 2026.
Oshadha will be taking over the DDB social media, sharing his work and inviting you to explore Ōtepoti with him throughout the week
A multi-disciplinary artist based in Ōtepoti, Oshadha’s work spans poetry, short stories, photography, and painting, exploring themes of environment, home, and family.
For the residency, Oshadha will create a series of photographs paired with short poems under the theme Explore Your Backyard, inviting viewers to notice the overlooked and extraordinary spaces of Ōtepoti. The project will also encourage the community to share their own images and poems, celebrating the city’s landscapes, histories, and everyday textures.
