The Regent Book Sale is Happening!

April 1st - 10th, Advance Bookings Essential

We’ve been waiting since the start of 2020 to hold our 40th anniversary fundraising Book Sale...and we are bursting at the seams!

Please read the below information for all the details.

We have devised a plan within the Covid Guidelines to keep everyone safe, meet the Theatre’s legal obligations in Red, and give thousands of Dunedin people a chance to stock up with good value entertainment to see them through to the Green light.

This special sale:The Regent Red Setting Book Sale will once again be held on the Regent stage. Thousands of books, at $1 and priced, as well as games and jigsaws will be on offer and continually restocked throughout the event.

To protect your wellbeing and to comply with Government Guidelines we are offering numerous sessions, of an hour and half each, to attend the sale throughout the ten-day period. This will ensure that the numbers don't exceed 100 at any time. You will need to book in advance to secure your preferred time slot as we will be unable to accommodate walk-ins. To guard against bookings being left unused, EVERY person attending, including children, will need to purchase a ticket, priced from $5. Your ticket price can be a donation to the theatre or may be used towards your purchases at the Book Sale. If you find you can no longer attend, you may transfer your tickets to someone else provided they meet the vaccination/mask requirement. If your ticket cannot be used, please let the theatre know as soon as possible so that your place can be re-allocated.

To choose and book your time slot, please click on the link below.

Alternatively, you can visit our Box Office or phone and speak to our friendly team 03 477 8597.
Please be aware that a credit card fee may apply when booking
