Applications for the 2027 Ireland Wilson Sargeson Fellowships are now open.

Applications close Monday 19 October.

Named in memory of New Zealand writers Frank Sargeson, Kevin Ireland and Phillip Wilson, these Fellowships will provide the opportunity each year for two outstanding published New Zealand writers to write full-time with the support of a stipend. In 2027 the amount of this stipend will be $15,000 to each writer.
