Dear Friends,

Sometimes I think the art will explain, or the poem, that metaphor will be enough. And maybe they are.

Stopping time, when time will not stop

My poem All of This Holds Mehad at its interior the Japanese concept of Ichigo Ichie. Grief, and traces of joy as I wrote to stop time, or at least, catch it.

A tributary of stars runs past my toes, flowing with the tide as I lean on the fallen branch.
