An exhibition of the winning posters at Tūhura Otago Museum Level 2 Atrium, on until Sun 19 May

Organised by local artist Bruce Mahalski, the 2024 edition aimed to empower young artists to convey messages of hope and positivity, emphasising the potential for repairing broken systems and embracing sustainable practices.

It was open to Kiwi youth aged five and above, and all entrants had to incorporate the slogan, ‘Protect our Future – Tiaki a Mātāhauariki’.

The posters were judged by renowned artists Fifi Colston, Michel Tuffery, and Kezia Field across four categories: junior, intermediate, senior, and adult. With over 200 submissions, selecting winners proved very challenging. Come along and see the incredible top entries for yourself!
