Writers Make with Music
6 October 2016 6:00pm — 7:30pm
In partnership with University Book Shop, Dunedin City Library is pleased to host an evening of readings and accoustic music presented by writers who bring music out of their words, either figuratively or literally, integrating live music into the performance, isolating the musical elements in a work, or perhaps simply in the manner of reading.
Writers David Eggleton, Ian Loughran, Ian Chapman, Bill Direen and Lynley Edmeades will be accompanied by musicians Ian Chapman, Jackson Harry and Stuart Porter.
This evening will be the first event of many poetry and music events, including another at the Tunnel in Port Chalmers the following evening, part of a national tour that will end in Auckland a month later.
University Book Shop will offer book sales on the evening (EFTPOS available).
Booking essential: visit the events page of the Libraries’ website www.dunedinlibraries.govt.nz/events for RSVP details and information, or contact 03 474 3690 / firstname.lastname@example.org
