World renowned storyteller and writer whose enchanting and thought-provoking stories enthrall audiences of all ages.

Drawing from oral traditions from around the world, her energetic performances incorporate song, dance, and colourful costumes. She will summon stories old and new: from the archive of master story-smith and Nobel prizewinner Isaac Bashevis Singer, to Mona's self-crafted tales, featuring 1980s New Zealand Jewish life; a poignant echo from the Russian shtetl; and an Hungarian immigrant's struggle to adjust to life in New Zealand.
