Rachel Ruckstuhl-Mann (Kāi Tahu Whānui) leads a physical workshop focused on embodying stories of Te Taiao and Te Ao Māori, embedded within our anatomy. She combines practices of dance, theatre, somatics (body awareness) and healing modalities into a creative space of exploration that works towards restorying our physical, energetic and communal selves within the context of whenua and whakapapa.
No previous experience needed, all bodies welcome. Please bring a yoga mat or blanket, comfortable warm clothing, a drink bottle and anything else that you need in order to participate fully and with ease. Please note, numbers will be limited to allow for spacing and keeping all participants as safe as possible.
