Brought to you in partnership with Bridget Williams Books and the University Book Shop, join us for a sparkling debate, chaired by Professor Janine Hayward, as author Max Harris discusses politics in New Zealand today - why it needs impatience and imagination, and the values of care, community, and creativity.

Since its release in mid-April, Max Harris’ book, The New Zealand Project has sparked debate throughout the country, and it’s first print run sold out in a few short weeks. By any measure, New Zealand must confront monumental challenges in the years ahead - issues like climate change, the future of work in an age of automation, and mass imprisonment. The New Zealand Project poses the vision of a young New Zealander for deepening our political discussion, starting conversations, and confronting the challenges ahead.
