Join Spoken Word artist Kyra Gillies for an evening of poems and songs on the climate and ecological crisis we face. A space for connection and reflection. Encompassing a range of interconnected topics from air and water health, habitat destruction, industrialised animal agriculture, Coronavirus, Western Sahara, Blood Phosphate, Militarism, Indigenous sovereignty and workers rights. With masterful wordsmithery the performance weaves together these inseparable issues crafting a hopeful abolitionist vision for the love and protection of all life - humans, plants and animals - on earth.

With Musical accompaniment by guitarist Paul Allen.

Doors at 6:30pm (131 High St, Dunedin), performance from 7pm.
