SUMMARY:Shakespeare Lives Photobooth
LOCATION:
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Wales and all things Welsh with the British High Commission in the Octagon from 11 a.m. till 3 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, 24 and 25 June 2016. Young people and children are warmly invited to dress up for the #ShakespeareLives photobooth or to learn more about Wales-born writer, Roald Dahl.
Visitors who are photographed in Shakespearean costumes (with items provided) in the Shakespeare photobooth will go into the draw to win a $50 book voucher. You can check out pictures from the last Shakespeare photobooth here.
The Roald Dahl Reading Corner will celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the writer’s birth in Cardiff. This booth in the marquee will feature a screen promoting the upcoming film of The BFG as well as space for children to read Roald Dahl books and enjoy colouring in. A competition will also be running to win a movie pass to The BFG or a set of Roald Dahl books – to enter the draw, participants can contribute to a BFG-themed drawing and writing wall.
