Helen Keller Day: 1 Million Names in Braille

27 June 2021 11:00am — 1:00pm

Helen Keller was born on 27th June 1880 with perfect sight and perfect hearing. So how did she become Deafblind and how did she manage to be such an inspiration around the world?

Join us to celebrate this inspirational woman with "that blind woman" Julie Woods. You can have your name written in Braille as part of Julie's dream to write 1 million names in Braille. Accompanying Julie will be other women who have said “WHY NOT?” to helping her with her name-writing goal.

So bring along a list of names you would like them to write and find out what number they are up to in their quest to reach 1 million!
