2019 Symposium Call for Papers, 14–15 November - 2 September Abstract Deadline

2 September 2019

The deadline for the Call for Papers for the Centre for the Book 2019 Research Symposium on ‘Biography, Autobiography and Memoirs’ is Monday 2 September 2019.

The theme is an exciting one, and we can imagine a raft of slants and approaches that one can take towards this genre. So, sharpen that pencil, and email a 250-300 word abstract of your ideas to books@otago.ac.nz and set aside the middle week of November for a thought-provoking symposium.

Importantly the Symposium (14 and 15 November) is free to attend, with delegates responsible for providing their own lunch. All we ask is that those wishing to attend register on our website, https://forms.gle/p9kxQvGkji8P34mq5, so that we can cater for morning and afternoon teas.

A firm programme will be sent out about mid-September

If you have any questions, please contact me at donald.kerr@otago.ac.nz or Shef at shef.rogers@otago.ac.nz.

Cheers

Donald

P.S. the talk at the Dunningham Room, Dunedin Public Library on 14 November will feature a panel: Dr Philip Temple, Dr Paul Millar, and Deborah Shephard. Dr Tom McLean will be moderator.
