Unique tepoti 2020 - Celebrating cultural expression through music and performance

By Otago Access Radio | Posted: Monday March 2, 2020

Unique tepoti 2020 is an opportunity for young Dunedin creative performers to express their cultural identities across multi-platform media.

OAR FM Dunedin is seeking registrations of interest from groups and individuals aged 12-18 years who can share original or traditional music, waiata, kapa haka or spoken word performances.

Any way that YOU express your culture or cultures

We are offering ten individuals or groups of young people the opportunity to be filmed and recorded for OAR FM Dunedin’s Youth Zone. Along with an interview, the footage of the performance will be edited together and available to listen to on OAR FM Dunedin, via podcast and to watch online.

The age range for this project is 12—18 years.

We will record the performances at OAR FM Dunedin studio in Moray Place. If the group is larger, we may be able to come to you! The default recording day will be on a Saturday at 11am, but this can be changed to suit your availability.

If you know of any young people that would like to register for this opportunity, please pass this information along to them.
